"Elements with Glass" Frequently Asked Questions

Some of the key benefits of Elements glass stair parts, include:

• Aesthetically pleasing - The Elements With Glass panels add a modern and elegant touch to any space. They create a sleek and open look, allowing light to pass through and enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the staircase.
• Durability - The glass used in balustrades is toughened or tempered to enhance its strength and safety. With proper installation and care, it can withstand regular usage for an extended period.
• Easy to clean - One of the biggest benefits of glass staircases is how easy they are to clean. Use a soft microfibre cloth and warm soapy water to clear away any fingerprints and spots of dirt that have accumulated.
You will be pleased to know that the glass Elements panels from the Richard Burbidge range are made with toughened glass and are strength tested to domestic regulations. In fact, some argue that glass stair parts are actually safer because they allow light to pass through, making each step more visible. As a result, the risk of falls is reduced considerably.
For the structural channel, we’d recommend a gap of 10mm between each glass panel. The maximum gap should not exceed 99mm. To make life easier when installing the glass panels, we suggest a 10mm/20mm gap.
