Optimaxx Screws
Now available at Jackson Woodturners, the Optimaxx range of premium wood screws. Optimaxx is a top quality, high performance wood screw that incorporates several unique features including a lubricated shaft, that reduces friction significantly. The points are razor sharp with a thread extedning all the way to the tip, allowing an immediate start on the smoothest and hardest surfaces, without the need for a pilot hole. On the underside of the screw head, there are 24 slots cut directly into it, making the screw an effective countersink tool, without the need to counter bore. This unique feature also helps to eliminate damage to the surface being worked on.
